Profile

Dr. Holli Bayonas has been a faculty affiliate with UCONN since 2016 when she started teaching for the Program Evaluation Online Certificate Program.  She is the founding President and Senior Evaluation Consultant of iEvaluate, LLC, which provides evaluation services for school, health, worksite, and community-based programs. On a daily basis, she is engaged in needs assessment, grant-writing , program theory/logic model development, survey development, focus groups, interviews, data analysis, and report writing. Since 2002, she has managed multiple research and evaluation projects funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, state departments, community centers, and local foundations, with budgets up to $2,000,000.

Experience

Dr. Bayonas has held various positions over her 24 years of experience in higher education. Some past adventures that inform her consulting include instructional designer, IT software consultant, institutional researcher, and distance education specialist. Through her consulting with iEvaluate, she has worked on long-term projects with faculty and administrators at Guilford County Schools (North Carolina), North Carolina State University, Wake Forest University, Greensboro College, Mount Airy City schools (North Carolina), High Point University, Brazosport College, University of North Carolina-Greensboro, Brazosport College, North Carolina A&T State University, State Regional Education Board (SREB), SERVE Center, Pearson Education, Winston Salem State University, Winston Salem/Forsyth County schools, and Elkin County schools (North Carolina).

Education

Dr. Bayonas holds a BS in Communications Media and a MA in Adult Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her PhD is in Instructional Systems Technology with a minor in Education Research Methods from Indiana University-Bloomington.
