External Evaluation of the UConn Chemistry Department REU Program
Evaluating a 10-week immersive Chemistry research program. The evaluation began with the design and development of surveys, interview and focus group protocols, and rubrics for scoring student work. Data were collected, wrangled, and analyzed for the 2022 cohort. The program was then evaluated across criteria including: satisfaction, research self-efficacy, engagement, career development, and inclusion.
